FreeBuds 3 may look like Apple AirPods, but they pack in quite a few extras. Here, you get 14.2mm dynamic drivers along with a “bass tube” in each pod to enhance the lower frequencies in music.
You also get active noise cancellation (ANC) to block ambient sound, along with a proprietary mic design that uses a “bone voice sensor” that picks up vibrations from your cheekbones to improve voice clarity.
You can switch ANC on/off by tapping the left earbud, while double-tapping the right bud lets you control music playback. Your music is automatically paused when you take off your earbuds, but resumes as soon as you place them in your ears again.
The buds are rated to provide up to four hours of listening, while its wireless charging case can add another 16 hours of play time. Huawei has not disclosed the price for the FreeBuds 3, but they’ll be available in black and white.
