Odd-even won’t ap­ply to women, two-wheel­ers

Two-wheel­ers and women driv­ers will con­tinue to en­joy ex­emp­tion from the odd-even sys­tem, which will come into ef­fect be­tween Novem­ber 4 and 15 this year, re­ports Atul Mathur.

Delhi trans­port min­is­ter Kailash Gahlot said the govern­ment was un­likely to make any changes in the list of cat­e­gories of ve­hi­cles ex­empted from the scheme is­sued in 2017. Oth­ers who will en­joy the ex­emp­tion in­clude cars of the Pres­i­dent, VP, PM, Union min­is­ters, CJI, gov­er­nors and CMs, those with CNG stick­ers, em­bassy ve­hi­cles and those bear­ing MoD num­ber plates.
