Imran forced to fly back to NY after snag hits MbS’ jet
Islamabad: The plane carrying PM Imran Khan and his entourage to Pakistan returned to New York on Friday after developing a technical fault four hours after it took off.
The plane, given by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, made an emergency landing in New York due to a problem in its electronic system. Officials said if they had continued the journey, there was a strong possibility of an accident. Khan, officials said, waited for some time at the airport but had to leave for his hotel after being told the plane will be ready for flight only by Saturday morning.
