Three gangsters who jumped parole caught after shootout
New Delhi: Three gangsters from the Kapil Sangwan gang who had jumped parole with him were caught after a shootout with the police near Chhawla on Monday night. Cops said that though no one was hurt, five rounds were fired.
DCP (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said that one of the gangsters is Amit Guliya, one of Sangwan’s trusted associates, who has been on the run. The other two are Ankush Ballu and Gulshan Khati.
Police sources said Guliya had a reward of Rs 50,000 and was arrested in 2016 by Gurgaon police. He had been absconding ever since he jumped parole last year. He is said to be running the Nandu gang in outer Delhi and Haryana now.
