Three gang­sters who jumped pa­role caught af­ter shootout

New Delhi: Three gang­sters from the Kapil Sang­wan gang who had jumped pa­role with him were caught af­ter a shootout with the po­lice near Ch­hawla on Mon­day night. Cops said that though no one was hurt, five rounds were fired.

DCP (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said that one of the gang­sters is Amit Guliya, one of Sang­wan’s trusted as­so­ci­ates, who has been on the run. The other two are Ankush Ballu and Gul­shan Khati.

Po­lice sources said Guliya had a re­ward of Rs 50,000 and was ar­rested in 2016 by Gur­gaon po­lice. He had been ab­scond­ing ever since he jumped pa­role last year. He is said to be run­ning the Nandu gang in outer Delhi and Haryana now.
