Ke­jri­wal to con­nect with stu­dents on dengue fight

New Delhi: Chief min­is­ter Arvind Ke­jri­wal will ad­dress stu­dents of all Delhi schools on Tues­day to cre­ate aware­ness about dengue and chikun­gunya, and make them a part of the cam­paign started by the gov­ern­ment. The gov­ern­ment will also pro­vide dengue kits and masks to the stu­dents.

He also an­nounced that the gov­ern­ment will or­gan­ise mega laser shows in the city and urged the peo­ple not to burst crack­ers.

In gov­ern­ment schools, the chil­dren were al­ready a part of the cam­paign. On Mon­day, the pri­vate and aided schools were roped in as well with Ke­jri­wal and deputy CM Man­ish Siso­dia ad­dress­ing the prin­ci­pals of the schools. Ke­jri­wal re­quested the prin­ci­pals to make ar­range­ments so he could speak to the stu­dents.

“A dengue kit will be given to every child in your school very soon.The chil­dren will check their houses and put stick­ers stat­ing that their homes are dengue free,” he said.
