Kejriwal to connect with students on dengue fight
New Delhi: Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will address students of all Delhi schools on Tuesday to create awareness about dengue and chikungunya, and make them a part of the campaign started by the government. The government will also provide dengue kits and masks to the students.
He also announced that the government will organise mega laser shows in the city and urged the people not to burst crackers.
In government schools, the children were already a part of the campaign. On Monday, the private and aided schools were roped in as well with Kejriwal and deputy CM Manish Sisodia addressing the principals of the schools. Kejriwal requested the principals to make arrangements so he could speak to the students.
“A dengue kit will be given to every child in your school very soon.The children will check their houses and put stickers stating that their homes are dengue free,” he said.
