Imran lashes out at MP for criticising govt
Islamabad: PM Imran Khan lashed out at a lawmaker from his own party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for raising some of the pressing problems faced by the people while he was on his US visit.
A PTI lawmaker from Peshawar, Noor Alam Khan, had recently raised the issue of inflation and criticised the government on the floor of the National Assembly, which did not go down well with PM Khan. During a meeting of the parliamentary members of his party, Khan asked Noor

“Have you ever spoken against the government when you were in Pakistan Peoples Party,” Alam said the PM had asked him during the meeting.
The PM told the meeting that all lawmakers, including Noor Alam Khan, should remember that the high prices were due to failed economic policies of the previous governments. Alam, who had joined the PTI just before the 2018 elections, said he told the PM that he had always spoken about the problems of the government when he was in PPP.
