BSF nabs Pak­istani teenage in­truder near Jammu bor­der

Jammu: A sus­pected Pak­istani in­truder was ap­pre­hended on Thurs­day by the Bor­der Se­cu­rity Force (BSF) near the In­ter­na­tional Bor­der in Kanachak sec­tor of Akhnoor tehsil in Jammu dis­trict.

The in­truder was caught early in the morn­ing sneak­ing into the In­dian side by the per­son­nel of the BSF’s 89 Bat­tal­ion de­ployed near a for­ward post.

“The Pak­istani in­truder has been iden­ti­fied as Ah­saan Mo­hammed An­wer, aged be­tween 17 and 18 years, from Bhuchaki vil­lage of Nankana dis­trict of Pak­istan’s Pun­jab prov­ince,” sources said. He is cur­rently in BSF’s cus­tody and his de­tails are be­ing ver­i­fied. A PTI re­port said he was be­ing in­ter­ro­gated.
