New Delhi: A tuition teacher and his brother-in-law were recently arrested for the murder of a 23-year-old woman whose body was found stuffed in a gunny bag near Karawal Nagar.

The woman was identified by her parents from her clothes. The family informed the cops that she had left the home claiming that she was going to meet the tutor, Naushad Ali. When the police questioned Ali, he claimed that she was asking him to marry her and even threatening to go public with their relationship. He added that he was already engaged to another student.

On September 26, the victim left her house to meet Ali at the tuition centre to plan his birthday. But when she met Ali, they again had an argument over marriage. Irritated with their fights, Ali picked up a blunt object and hit her twice on the head, which killed her. The next day, he dumped the body into a drain in Karawal with the help of Rajiq.
