Goel, Tandon elected unanimously
Union minister Vijay Goel and veteran sports administrator Ravi Tandon have been unanimously elected as the president and secretary general, respectively, of the Delhi Billiards & Snooker Association (DBSA) for a three-year term from 2019-2022. H S Bhogal and Aayush Bansal have been named joint secretaries, while A K Garg has been elected treasurer. Meanwhile, in a sad development, former DBSA champion, Tarun Chandra, breathed his last on Saturday after abrief illness. Chandra, father of India international snooker and pool player Manan, was nicknamed ‘Tornado’ during his playing days.
