Farid­abad, Ggn to get 5 more air mon­i­tors

Gur­gaon: Five new air mon­i­tor­ing ma­chines will be in­stalled by the Haryana State Pol­lu­tion Con­trol Board (HSPCB) in Gur­gaon and Farid­abad as part of the mea­sures be­ing taken by the au­thor­i­ties to tackle pol­lu­tion.

The state pol­lu­tion body on Fri­day re­vealed the plans to in­stall the ma­chines af­ter a meet­ing held to fi­nalise the clean-air pro­gramme for the two cities. While Gur­gaon will have two more air qual­ity mon­i­tor­ing ma­chine, Farid­abad will get three more. Cur­rently, both Gur­gaon and Farid­abad have two air qual­ity mon­i­tor­ing ma­chines each. The ex­act lo­ca­tions where these ma­chines will be in­stalled have still not been re­vealed yet.
