Busi­ness­man shot at by 3

New Delhi: A 38-year-old man, owner of a dairy fran­chise, sus­tained in­juries af­ter be­ing robbed and shot at by three men on abike in north­east Delhi’s Karawal Na­gar on Satur­day night.

A senior po­lice of­fi­cer said that the vic­tim has been iden­ti­fied as Na­har Singh, who was at his dairy booth at the time of the in­ci­dent. The of­fi­cer said that three per­sons came and asked him for the cost of cheese over the counter, af­ter which they tried to bar­gain. They tried to en­ter the booth but as he re­sisted, they shot a round in his di­rec­tion and fled af­ter rob­bing nearly Rs 20,000.

Po­lice said that Singh sus­tained an ear in­jury and is sta­ble. A case has been reg­is­tered and fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing.
