Businessman shot at by 3
New Delhi: A 38-year-old man, owner of a dairy franchise, sustained injuries after being robbed and shot at by three men on abike in northeast Delhi’s Karawal Nagar on Saturday night.
A senior police officer said that the victim has been identified as Nahar Singh, who was at his dairy booth at the time of the incident. The officer said that three persons came and asked him for the cost of cheese over the counter, after which they tried to bargain. They tried to enter the booth but as he resisted, they shot a round in his direction and fled after robbing nearly Rs 20,000.
Police said that Singh sustained an ear injury and is stable. A case has been registered and further investigation is ongoing.
