Prasad among world’s 100 most influential people in digital governance
New Delhi: Communication, electronics & IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has been named in the list of world’s 100 most influential people in digital governance.
The list has been prepared by aleading UK-based NGO, Apolitical, which presents global platforms for governments that help public servants, experts and partners to find the ideas to solve the challenges facing the society. Some of the leading entrepreneurs, authors, senior policy advisors, technologists and professors of Harvard University are members of this body, while its partners include the World Bank, and the World Economic Forum.
Prasad has been leading the government’s digital efforts which include programmes such as Digital India that aims to empower citizens through the use of technology.
