Five Jamia stu­dents get no­tice for ‘in­dis­ci­pline’ dur­ing protest

New Delhi: Five stu­dents of Jamia Mil­lia Is­lamia were is­sued show cause no­tice by the ad­min­is­tra­tion for al­legedly hurl­ing ver­bal abuses at the proc­to­rial team and in­dulging in in­dis­ci­pline dur­ing a protest that stu­dents had or­gan­ised on Oc­to­ber 5. The stu­dents, mean­while, al­leged that ac­tion was be­ing taken for hold­ing the protest against the ‘Global Health Zenith: Con­flu­ence ’19’ or­gan­ised by the fac­ulty of ar­chi­tec­ture and ek­istics. The stu­dents claimed that the event was or­gan­ised in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Is­rael as a coun­try part­ner, which the ad­min­is­tra­tion de­nied.
