Festive Times in Rajasthan

-

Rajasthan is known for its beautiful colour palette, which only gets more vibrant during its many fairs and festivals. While Bikaner Camel Festival brings out beautifully bedecked camels against the red Junagarh Fort, Kite Festival takes the spectacle to the skies. Braj Holi and Dhulandi Festival splash every local and visitor in colours. The sands of Jaisalmer come alive with folk culture during Desert Festival, and the voices of Bhakti and Sufi saint-poets rise across the state during the Rajasthan Kabir Yatra. The onset of spring rings in the Mewar Festival in Udaipur, while monsoon sees royal processions as part of Teej Festival in Jaipur. The state is also home to world-renowned events like Jaipur Literature Fest, Udaipur World Musical Festival, and Pushkar Fair.
