GETTING THERE

Etihad Airways (etihad.com) flies from Delhi and Mumbai to Athens via Abu Dhabi. Ferries

(ferryhopper.com) depart regularly from Athens to Tínos, Santorini, and Sikinos, though frequency diminishes outside of the summer season. I recommend renting a car on Tínos, where there are plenty of empty roads and villages to explore. Driving (and parking) on Santorini is more trouble than it’s worth, and Sikinos is small enough to get around on foot, with the occasional taxi.
