BREWING CONVERSATIONS
Luxurious coffee outings in Bengaluru now have a new address at the JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru.
BRINGING DELECTABLE green cuisines, indulgent desserts, and the warm brewed cup back in Bengaluru is the Bengaluru Baking Company at JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru. With an all-new evolved concept, the Bengaluru Baking Company is relaunching and is aimed at breaking traditional boundaries of a pâtisserie delicatessen. This casual café during the day transforms into a resto-lounge post sundown with a side of crafted fusion cocktails, including their signature, Cocane—a fine concoction of sugarcane juice and aged rum.
The culinary operations at the outpost are being spearheaded by pastry chef
Gautam Dublay along with his team who blend modern and traditional culinary styles. On the menu one should keep an eye out for the wide selection of plant forward creations for breakfast, smoothie bowls, artisanal breads, all-day classics, and pastry displays ranging from gateaux, entremets, verrines and pralines, including their signature Chikmagalur Estate Opera cake. Adding on to the visual offerings, now guests can also witness the making of handcrafted chocolate with a live display of chocolates and bonbons getting finishing touches and can partake in the daily curated tasting sessions of specialty oils and teas.
As for the interiors here, one is immediately transported back to the old-world charm of Bengaluru. The hotel manager, Gaurav Sinha, describes the outpost as “capable of stimulating conversations around old-Bengaluru art, food, and nature.” At the Bengaluru Baking Company, furry friends are also whole-heartedly welcome. jwmarriottbengaluru.com ―
