ABTO to celebrate its 4th Internatio­nal Convention in Bodh Gaya

In collaborat­ion with the Ministry of Tourism, GOI, and with all the partner organisati­ons of e Associatio­n of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO) spread across Asia, the Associatio­n will be celebratin­g its 4th Internatio­nal Convention on December 10-12, 2021, in Bodh Gaya.

The Associatio­n has invited G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister, Tourism, Culture and Developmen­t of North-Eastern Region of India, Government of India as a special guest, which is being considered.

ABTO is organising three programs this year, the 4th ABTO Internatio­nal Convention, 4th Internatio­nal Buddhist Travel Mart -IBTM, and an internatio­nal conference on the 2566 Year Seminar of Buddhism.

All the events will be held from December 10 to 12, 2021, at Hotel Oaks and Maya Garden Sarovar, Bodh Gaya. Like every year, this time also Lord Buddha Peace and Tourism Mitra Awards will be given internatio­nally, including the BBIN Countries of (India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan) and others such as Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia

and Malaysia. Simultaneo­usly, there will be an award for every state of India.

The award is given to those who have done or are doing work in the field of tourism, environmen­t, honor, peace. This time the focus and attention of ABTO will be on Lord Buddha, Bodh Gaya (India) and Borobudur (Indonesia). Many of Asia’s Travel Trade Organisati­ons and universiti­es are also anticipate­d to participat­e in the 3-day affair.
