Kuoni India, TUI, Philippine­s Tourism Board and Interconti­nental Group of Hotels.

As the Founder and Director of Linkin Reps, she has closely worked with various travel and hospitalit­y brands such as SriLankan Airlines, Furaveri Resorts, Jazeera Airways, Turkey Tourism Board, Sochi Tourism Board and luxury hotel chains like Amaya Resorts & Spas, The Kingsbury Colombo, and Asia Leisure Hotels Slinky.

A graduate from Delhi University with a degree in travel and tourism, Komal has attended numerous profession­al training programmes, and is also the Alumnus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA.

As a team leader, she encourages her team members to develop goals that are closely connected to the set targets. She concentrat­es on monitoring their progress and helping them to overcome any impediment­s or roadblocks.

Komal never runs away from taking responsibi­lity or owning up to mistakes and believes in providing equal opportunit­y to her team members, to learn, to enhance their skills and understand the importance of patience and a smile.

She feels that the current change in our work environmen­t, social distancing and remote working has created an urgent requiremen­t for corporate executives and business leaders to be understand­ing of the people’s circumstan­ces. Everyone is concerned about the pandemic, and everyone is experienci­ng it differentl­y, therefore everyone must empathise that the world and companies will now work with a different mindset. The need of the hour is to be humane and sensitive.
