Every year, we talk of making Incredible India a 365-day destinatio­n, but fail to deliver anything substantia­l in the said direction. India is an incredible destinatio­n, which has to offer more than any other destinatio­n.

However, lack of marketing support and attractive campaigns specifical­ly aimed at selling the summer season ensure that we witness a lean period.

To start with, we should target some specific countries to generate visitor arrivals in that specific period. The Visa on Arrival scheme along with the other incentives like partial or complete visa fee waiver should be extended to create demand.
