Demands on the list

Among many desirables, FHRAI raised a few points:

Granting ' infrastructure' status by removing the restrictive stipulation presently prescribed in the Harmonized List of Infrastructure Sub-sectors All state governments to accord the sector 'industry' status Each state must constitute an empowered Hospitality Development Promotion Board (HDPB) under the Chairmanship of their Chief Secretaries A liberalization of FSI/FAR norms is desired, for which FHRAI has submitted a detailed report to the Ministry of Urban Development during consultations for DDA's MPD-2021
