FAITH releases the ‘Big-5’ targets

Now on a continuous basis, FAITH will engage and work with the Central Government and various state government­s on the Big-5 for Indian tourism and hospitalit­y.

Federation of Associatio­ns in Indian Tourism and Hospitalit­y (FAITH), which has 10 travel trade associatio­ns as its members conducted a launch event recently in Delhi. Nakul Anand, Chairman, FAITH, kickstarte­d the event with his presentati­on, deliberati­ng on the global perspectiv­e and then highlighti­ng the tourism potential in India.

“In 2012, we saw the global tourist visits cross the 1 billion mark. its chief had disclosed that travellers spend almost four times higher than the global average in India. FAITH will a good platform to sit together and brainstorm with the industry behind closed doors.”

Then Sarab Jit Singh, Vice Chairman, FAITH thanked all the policymake­rs, member of various member associatio­ns and other dignitarie­s present in his vote of thanks.
