Veena World starts its in­nings

Veena Patil Hos­pi­tal­ity-owned Veena World is the new travel com­pany to en­ter the mar­ket this year. With the aim of mak­ing travel af­ford­able for ev­ery In­dian, the com­pany has al­ready started ag­gres­sive plans for ex­pan­sion.

The com­pany launched its first sales of­fice in Mum­bai and plans to open six more of­fices in Mum­bai and one in Pune in next three months. The sales of­fice was in­au­gu­rated by well-known politi­cian Raj Thack­eray. Along with ex­ten­sive sales of­fices, the com­pany has also ap­pointed 50 PSPs (Pre­ferred Sales Part­ners) in Ma­ha­rash­tra to of­fer con­ve­nient ser­vices to their clients in the state. It will soon in­tro­duce B2B on­line gate­way for agents to pro­vide seam­less brows­ing of prod­ucts and itin­er­ary and later in­tro­duce book­ing chan­nels as well.

Talk­ing on the launch of its new ven­ture, Veena Patil, MD, Veena Patil Hos­pi­tal­ity said, “Our ini­tial pri­or­i­ties are to spread aware­ness about our new brand, bring in the best af­ford­able travel pack­ages for our clients and con­nect with our travel ser­vice providers. We have re­ceived im­mense sup­port from our travel part­ners and in­dus­try in our pre­vi­ous com­pany and ex­pect sim­i­lar sup­port from this in this ven­ture.” She fur- ther adds, “Our com­pany is fo­cussed on af­ford­able travel for ev­ery seg­ment of trav­ellers. We have the best group tour op­tions and also tai­lor- made pack­ages. Cur­rently, we have mul­ti­ple spe­cialised di­vi­sions – stu­dents, women spe­cial, hon­ey­moon­ers, se­nior cit­i­zens and cor­po­rates. We will keep in­no­vat­ing new prod­ucts in our prod­uct-line and in­spire our clients to travel.”

Un­der­stand­ing the need to cater to the grow­ing youth trav­eller seg­ment, the com­pany is also fo­cussed on so­cial chan­nels. Ac­cord­ing to Neil Patil, Pri­mary Di­rec­tor, Veena World; so­cial me­dia is one of the best chan­nels for mar­ket­ing wherein the brand can not only send across a mes­sage, but also take feed­back from clients. He said, “Apart from hav­ing a strong pres­ence on so­cial net­works like Face­book, Twit­ter, etc; we have an en­hanced ver­sion of web- por­tal. Our clients can find their re­quire­ments in max­i­mum four clicks in­stead of mul­ti­ple clicks. We have not clut­tered our por­tal with ads or pack­ages, but tried to keep it clean and user- friendly. We will soon in­tro­duce on­line book­ing chan­nels for our clients.
