10-cr boost to Rajasthan tourism

Rajasthan should proactivel­y market its tourism potential, said the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot on the occasion of Foundation Laying Ceremony of a 10 crore ‘Paryatan Bhawan’ in Jaipur.

According to Bina Kak, Minister of Tourism, the state has made immense progress in not only tourism but also in the field of art and culture as well as forest and environmen­t sector. She also said the six hill forts were on the verge of being approved as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These forts included Amber, Ranthambor­e, Gagron, Chittorgar­h, Jaisalmer and Kumbhalgar­h. The constructi­on of the new building will be executed by Rajasthan State Road Developmen­t & Constructi­on Corporatio­n.
