‘Agents as am­bas­sadors’

We saw good ac­cep­tance from the In­dian mar­ket. It’s very en­cour­ag­ing be­cause we see the po­ten­tial that it has shown, and we feel the ne­ces­sity to work bet­ter in this mar­ket. South Amer­ica is a new op­tion for those who have al­ready ex­plored many des­ti­na­tions. We feel there is a strong de­mand, but there is a lack of in­for­ma­tion about th­ese des­ti­na­tions, and also re­gard­ing our air­lines. Through this new pro­gramme, we would like to raise aware­ness and ed­u­cate travel agents. With time, we would cer­tify them as spe­cial­ists; this is our goal in or­der to cre­ate more aware­ness to South Amer­i­can des­ti­na­tions

We are at a stage in which we are fo­cussing all our ef­forts on the trade and travel agents. We want them to be our am­bas­sadors. In this way, all our mar­ket­ing ef­forts are targetted to­wards the trade.

We are also de­vel­op­ing this pro­gramme in Mum­bai. For the next workshop, which will be held by the first half of next year, we will pro­mote Ar­gentina and Columbia. There will be other work­shops pro­mot­ing dif­fer­ent des­ti­na­tions, too. We also have an ad­vanced pro­gramme that will be held in 2015 and 2016.
