8 new do­mes­tic flights from In­diGo

In­diGo re­cently an­nounced eight new flights con­nect­ing seven des­ti­na­tions, Delhi, Hy­der­abad, Luc­know, Sri­na­gar, Bhubanesh­war, Guwahati and Di­bru­garh. Ef­fec­tive March 15, 2014, the air­line will op­er­ate daily non-stop flights be­tween Delhi to Di­bru­garh and re­turn via Guwahati – Kolkata and Luc­know to Sri­na­gar via Delhi. The air­line also an­nounced the third non-stop flight from Delhi to Bhubanesh­war and Guwahati, fifth non-stop flight from Delhi to Luc­know and Sri­na­gar and sixth non- stop flight be­tween Delhi and Hy­der­abad. Ghosh, Pres­i­dent and Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor, In­diGo said, “Di­bru­garh is go­ing to be an im­por­tant part of our des­ti­na­tion net­work be­cause it holds good prospect for trav­ellers and stu­dents be­long­ing to the re­gion in the met­ro­pol­i­tan cities. We are com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing max­i­mum con­nec­tiv­ity on our net­work by cater­ing to var­i­ous seg­ments, and are con­fi­dent that these additional flights will prove im­mensely con­ve­nient for our pas­sen­gers.” In­diGo is In­dia's largest air­line with a mar­ket share of 28.2 per cent as of De­cem­ber 2013. The air­line cur­rently op­er­ates in­ter­na­tional flights to 5 des­ti­na­tions, namely, Bangkok, Dubai, Kath­mandu, Mus­cat and Sin­ga­pore.
