There has been no looking back for this entrepreneur who has grown from a fiveperson start-up to 130 people multi- national within a short span of five years. Rajeev Kumar G has a success story like no other. Along with recognising his achievements, India Travel awards, South, awarded the growing popularity of Mystifly by honouring them as the Best Global Travel Consolidation Services for the year.

Providing airline content for over 70 countries, Mystifly brings forward a platform that helps with international business. “Our USP is that we are the only platform that offer global airfares for about 70 countries and we are definite- ly the only platform that offer the web services for all this content. Offering content is one thing but we go beyond that and are offering fulfilment, support services 24x7 and local published prices along with special deals from 70 countries,” says Rajeev Kumar G.

At present, Mystifly has a registered agency base of 1,800 agencies in India and globally 4,200 agencies more. “We have over 6,000 registered users on our platform. Out of the 1800 Indian agents, less than 20 per cent are our productive agents whose business needs are being catered to. We don’t fit into a small agency business. Agents require substantial international business for this,” he adds. “On an international map, we are doing well in certain pockets. We have really taken off in the Middle East. UK is one of our fastest growing markets and we are very active in Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.”

Their customer base is spread over 55 countries today and India contributes to a big chunk of that market but is no longer the significant contributor to the business. The Indian business is growing but there are markets outside India, which are bigger and growing faster. “USA is our biggest market and contributes to 35 per cent of our revenue today,” he adds.

Understanding the exclusivity and uniqueness of the product beyond a GDS, Kumar says, “GDS is a con- tent distributor and their relationships are specific to a particular country. We sit on top of the consolidators in 70 countries and are giving travel agents an access to consolidated and cheaper fares outside their local market.”

Mystifly has had a success story since its inception. “We have been doubling our business year-on-year and hope to triple it this year. We have some big global deals planned and feel that our aggressive focus on Latin America, America and Middle East will bring fruitful results,” Kumar added.

Making global business easily available locally, Mystifly allows a small company to have a global supplier integration capability.
