Switzerlan­d Tourism is making big changes before it forays into the New Year. It will launch its ‘Grand Tour’ theme in 2015 that will promote its popular routes by road and rail as well as look at secondary and tertiary Indian cities with more focus.

The aim of these one-onone training workshops is to create a relationsh­ip with the agents in these parts so they know whom to contact whenever they need any help or assistance in selling Switzerlan­d. Sharma also reveals that South India is emerging as an important destinatio­n. “We see a lot of groups from South like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala as they are starting to spend more,” she says.
