What is the kind of occupancy the region is commanding? Against that, what is the occupancy rate your hotel is targetting?

Goa is currently witnessing a stable occupancy of 70% and this has seen an increase by 2% to 3% with supply increase by 3% and demand growth by 5%. The Grand Mercure Goa in its first year is targetting an occupancy of 65%.

We would like to work with all travel agents including online and for this, we have ensured that the rate parity is maintained while the perform- ance link bonus is something that we have been offering all our partners helping us promote both our resorts in Goa which is the Grand Mercure Goa Shrem Resort and Novotel Goa Shrem Resort which has been operationa­l since October 2013. Our entire focus at Grand Mercure Goa Shrem Resort will be to offer upscale guest experience while we continue to bring about every bit of Goa for our guests and provide a Glocal experience through this brand Grand Mercure.
