In 2014, we not only ex­panded in terms of ar­eas of op­er­a­tions but also our team size. We have been able to add nine new clients to our client base. We have also got a cou­ple of brand new business jets to mar­ket, which gave us an edge over our com­peti­tors.

Does In­dian Avi­a­tion have a fu­ture?

The In­dian civil avi­a­tion in­dus­try is on a high growth tra­jec­tory. In­dia has a vi­sion of be­com­ing the third largest avi­a­tion mar­ket by 2020 and is ex­pected to be the largest by 2030. I'm sure the avi­a­tion job mar­ket will also im­prove in 2015 with two new air­lines – AirAsia and Vis­tara en­ter­ing the In­dian mar­ket. There is a large un­tapped po­ten­tial for growth in the In­dian avi­a­tion in­dus­try. It is very im­por­tant for the gov­ern­ment to pre­pare and im­ple­ment ef­fec­tive poli­cies which will play a very crit­i­cal role in shap­ing the fu­ture of avi­a­tion in­dus­try in In­dia.

Next year, we would like to make our sales & mar­ket­ing di­vi­sion stronger by in­duct­ing more sales & mar­ket­ing per­son­nel. We’ll fo­cus on adding more air­craft and he­li­copters to the fleet of air­craft we of­fer to our clients. We are also plan­ning to open an of­fice in the US or the Mid­dle East pri­mar­ily to cater to the in­ter­na­tional char- ter re­quire­ment of our clients. Our pri­mary aim would be to fo­cus on our cur­rent mar­ket and un­der­take ag­gres­sive sales & mar­ket­ing plans.

What are your mar­ket­ing strate­gies?

Our mar­ket­ing depart­ment is cur­rently un­der the process of fi­nal­is­ing a com­pre­hen­sive mar­ket­ing strat­egy, which will be put into prac­tice from Ja­nu­ray 2015. We will be im­ple­ment­ing more spe­cific and ef­fec­tive tech­niques rang­ing from em­ploy­ing di­rect sales per­son­nel, mak­ing in­di­rect cus­tomer con­tact and other prac­tices. We will also be im­ple­ment­ing our cus­tomer con­tact pro­gramme. Word- of-mouth ad­ver­tis­ing will com­ple­ment and en­hance di­rect mail. We are also in the fi­nal round of ne­go­ti­a­tion with cou­ple of char­ter op­er­a­tors to form an al­liance, wherein Fore­see Avi­a­tion will take the ex­clu­sive mar­ket­ing rights of their air­craft.
