What seg­ment of con­sumers are you tar­get­ing?

We are tar­get­ing fam­i­lies, the leisure and the cor­po­rate trav­eller. Da­man is both a hol­i­day des­ti­na­tion for many cities in Gu­jarat and Ma­ha­rash­tra and be­ing a Union Ter­ri­tory, it has sev­eral fac­tors that in­flu­ence peo­ple to come here. Da­man also has sev­eral fac­to­ries and of­fices in close prox­im­ity and as a re­sult, we re­ceive a lot of cor­po­rate clients. Con­sid­er­ing that we are the only five-star prop­erty in the area, we also have sev­eral op­u­lent suites with pri­vate jacuzzi.

Which are your key mar­kets?

Our key mar­kets in In­dia are Gu­jarat and Ma­ha­rash­tra – ba­si­cally any­thing that is a five to six hours’ drive away be­cause the road con­nec­tiv­ity to Da­man from all ma­jor cities is ex­cel­lent. Also, the Vapi rail­way sta­tion is just a 10-minute drive from our prop­erty.

What is your strat­egy to pro­mote The Deltin, Da­man in In­dia?

We are look­ing at pro­mot­ing our prop­erty through sev­eral chan­nels, both off­line and on­line. We also have our own in­ter­nal sales force.
