Korea’s Gyeongnam ties up with OTOAI and Cox & Kings

In a significan­t step to attract Indian tour ists to Gyeongnam province in Korea, the Tourism Division of Gy eongnam Developmen­t Corporatio­n, Cox & Kings Travel India; Outbound Travel Agent Associatio­n of India and Korea Tourism Organisati­on signed an MoU on August 10 and August 12, 2015 respectiv ely. Korea Tourism Organisati­on; the Tourism Business Division of Gyeongnam De velopment Cor poration; OTOAI and Cox & Kings will engage in activities of attracting tourism to the region. While K orea Tourism Organisati­on will espouse Cox and Kings to develop year round promotiona­l activities of the tourism products for Gyeongnam. OTOAI will make efforts, for pro- moting the region, so that, the Indian tourist frequently visit Republic of Korea in large numbers in connection to the procession path f or the marriage of Queen Heo.

According to Byungsun Lee, Director, Korea Tourism Organisati­on India, says “The joint effort will be mutually bene- ficial in terms of business to travel partners and both the tourism organisati­ons in augmenting the outbound tr avel to Korea. Korea Tourism Organisati­on is always k een on co-w orking with the travel partners in India and is always inclined to support the tourism promotions for Korea in all aspects.”
