Korea’s Gyeong­nam ties up with OTOAI and Cox & Kings

In a sig­nif­i­cant step to at­tract In­dian tour ists to Gyeong­nam prov­ince in Korea, the Tourism Divi­sion of Gy eong­nam De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion, Cox & Kings Travel In­dia; Out­bound Travel Agent As­so­ci­a­tion of In­dia and Korea Tourism Or­gan­i­sa­tion signed an MoU on Au­gust 10 and Au­gust 12, 2015 re­spec­tiv ely. Korea Tourism Or­gan­i­sa­tion; the Tourism Busi­ness Divi­sion of Gyeong­nam De vel­op­ment Cor po­ra­tion; OTOAI and Cox & Kings will en­gage in ac­tiv­i­ties of at­tract­ing tourism to the re­gion. While K orea Tourism Or­gan­i­sa­tion will es­pouse Cox and Kings to de­velop year round pro­mo­tional ac­tiv­i­ties of the tourism prod­ucts for Gyeong­nam. OTOAI will make ef­forts, for pro- mot­ing the re­gion, so that, the In­dian tourist fre­quently visit Re­pub­lic of Korea in large num­bers in con­nec­tion to the pro­ces­sion path f or the mar­riage of Queen Heo.

Ac­cord­ing to Byung­sun Lee, Di­rec­tor, Korea Tourism Or­gan­i­sa­tion In­dia, says “The joint ef­fort will be mu­tu­ally bene- fi­cial in terms of busi­ness to travel part­ners and both the tourism or­gan­i­sa­tions in aug­ment­ing the out­bound tr avel to Korea. Korea Tourism Or­gan­i­sa­tion is al­ways k een on co-w ork­ing with the travel part­ners in In­dia and is al­ways in­clined to sup­port the tourism pro­mo­tions for Korea in all as­pects.”
