Prior to his association with the Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Patta has worked with brands like Carlzor Rezidor group, Country Club India Limited, Tivoli garden, Royal Goan Beach Club, Fortune Jodhpur, The Clarks and The Surya New Delhi.
