Safety and security received 43% votes, a sign that the industry does acknowledge the need to give tourists the confidence to be on their own wherever they are.e. Tourism-related infrastructure cuts a close second with 39% votes where a lot of people voiced the need for better roads and better-kept monuments and wayside amenities. Regional connectivity with 11% stood third. Close to 7% highlighted various topics like educating the front-line staff, curbing exorbitant hotel charges and airfare and rooting out fraud travel agents to maintain integrity of the industry.
