Bo­hol is one of his go-to places to un­wind and he raves about the mouth-wa­ter­ing food. On his most un­for­get­table travel mem­ory he shares, “Scuba-div­ing in Coron was one of the eye-open­ers in my life. See­ing a dif­fer­ent world al­to­gether es­pe­cially the coral, ship-wrecks and the lit­tle lakes be­tween the lime­stone cliffs was over­whelm­ing.” Aye­sha Bhalla has been ap­pointed as Mar­ket Di­rec­tor of Sales and Mar­ket­ing for JW Mar­riott Pune and all other prop­er­ties in Pune un­der the Mar­riott be­gan her ca­reer at the Holiday Inn World­wide and worked with brands like Oberoi Ho­tels & Re­sorts Mumbai, The Im­pe­rial New Delhi, Oberoi Ho­tels and Re­sorts Ban­ga­lore and JW Mar­riott Mumbai Sa­har. Bhalla has com­pleted her grad­u­a­tion from Sy­den­ham Col­lege of Com­merce & Eco­nomics, Mumbai and also holds a MBA from Amity Busi­ness School, Noida. Har­shad Nalawade has been ap­pointed as the Food & Bev­er­age Man­ager at the JW Mar­riott Pune. In his re­fur­bished role, Nalawade will be re­spon­si­ble to ex­e­cute key op­er­a­tions & plan­ning across all the F&B out­lets such as Alto Vino, Spice Kitchen, Shaka­hari, Mi-A-Mi, Pune Baking Com­pany, Bar 101 & Pasha. He has been a JW Mar­riott pro­tégé and be­gan his ca­reer with JW Mar­riott. He gained 8 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in JW Mar­riott, Mumbai and then moved to Pune where he opened the iconic nightclub Mi-A-Mi. He car­ries with him over 16+ years of cross-func­tional ex­po­sure across hos­pi­tal­ity in­dus­try. Gen­eral Man­ager, JW Mar­riott Chandi­garh, be­lieves in stay­ing happy and spread­ing the hap­pi­ness. “I am in­spired by ev­ery­one who make this world a better place with their pos­i­tive con­tri­bu­tions,” he says. Bin­dra is pas­sion­ate about driv­ing and this has taken him to var­i­ous ex­cur­sions and road trips across In­dia and, most re­cently, an from In­dia to Bangkok last year. “I am now look­ing for­ward to my next cross-bor­der drive from Delhi to Lon­don next month, which will take me through 18 coun­tries in 55 days.” Chief Ex­ec­u­tive, TIRUN Travel Mar­ket­ing, is fond of golf and en­joys to prac­tice the same in her free time. Talk­ing about the driv­ing force to work hard, Chadha says, “The strength of the com­pany is its em­ploy­ees and my col­leagues. Twothirds of the planet is cov­ered in wa­ter and our as­pi­ra­tion is to cater to all the as­pir­ing In­di­ans to help them ex­pe­ri­ence the world dif­fer­ently, through cruises.” Three des­ti­na­tions that feature in her bucket list are Ice­land, Gala­pa­gos Is­lands and the Antarc­tic.
