Skål Delhi’s Exec Com­mit­tee

With a new team in place, the new core mem­bers of Skål Delhi chap­ter plan to add more value to the club by host­ing ex­pert speak­ers and team-build­ing ac­tiv­i­ties.

Skål Delhi’s newly elected Ex­ec­u­tive Com­mit­tee for the term 2017-2019 re­cently held their first meet­ing of the term on April 19 at ITC Mau­rya New Delhi which gave the mem­bers, old and new, an op­por­tu­nity to break the ice. Skål­leagues in­ter­acted over lunch and dis­cussed on­go­ing hap­pen­ings. Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion, Su­nil Gad­hiok, Pres­i­dent, Skål Delhi, said, “With the com­mence­ment of the new term, we will con­tinue aid­ing mem­ber­ships to the chap­ter which cur­rently stands at a 200-mem­ber strength. Skål Delhi is the sec­ond largest chap­ter glob­ally and our aim is to take it to the top. In terms of club ac­tiv­i­ties, mem­bers can ex­pect more team-build­ing ac­tiv­i­ties and events that are in sync with the cur­rent hap­pen­ings, along with ex­pert speak­ers to give more value for the mem­ber­ship. CSR has al­ways been one of our pri­or­i­ties and the em­pha­sis will con­tinue for the coming term.”

The new core com­mit­tee mem­bers in­clude Greesh Bin­dra, Vice Pres­i­dent; Ran­jit Vig, Sec­re­tary; Ajay Bhat­na­gar, Trea­surer; San­jay Datta, Im­me­di­ate past Pres­i­dent; Homa Mistry, Mem­ber; Ankush Ni­jhawan, Mem­ber (Di­rec­tor, Young Skål); Ra­jin­der Rai, Mem­ber; Tekla Maira, new Mem­ber; Ro­hit Khosla, new Mem­ber, Sunny Sodhi, new Mem­ber.

In ad­di­tion, Skål Delhi has launched a Young Skål club which aims to nur­ture tal­ent and shape bud­ding pro­fes­sion­als into strong lead­ers of the fu­ture. Gad­hiok in­formed that the mem­ber­ship for Young Skål is cur­rently around 30-mem­ber strong which will soon be of­fi­cially for­malised and taken for­ward in the next few months.

In terms of club ac­tiv­i­ties, mem­bers can ex­pect more team-build­ing ac­tiv­i­ties and events that are in sync with the cur­rent hap­pen­ings
