Spot­light on Dig­i­tal In­flu­encers

Sched­uled to take place on Day 1 of WTM Lon­don 2017, Dig­i­tal In­flu­encers’ Speed Net­work­ing 2017 will be the big­gest one yet, with an in­creased fo­cus on YouTu­bers and In­sta­gram­mers.

This year’s Dig­i­tal In­flu­encers’ Speed Net­work­ing will be the big­gest yet, with 120 dig­i­tal in­flu­encers tak­ing part, and an in­creased fo­cus on YouTu­bers and In­sta­gram­mers. WTM Port­fo­lio Press and PR Man­ager, Paul Nel­son, said, “The num­ber of dig­i­tal in­flu­encers at­tend­ing WTM Lon­don has in­creased dra­mat­i­cally over the past few years, as their power and in­flu­ence con­tinue to grow stronger es­pe­cially in the travel in­dus­try. ”

Last year’s event saw 400 ex­hibitor per­son­nel dis­cuss busi­ness op­por­tu­ni­ties with 110 blog­gers. The event launched in 2014 with 70 blog­gers and ex­panded to 100 in 2015, and will see 120 dig­i­tal in­flu­encers in 2017. The fourth edi­tion of the 90-minute ses­sion will see par­tic­i­pants par­take in quick-fire busi­ness meet­ing with ex­hibitors in­ter­ested in in­creas­ing their me­dia ex­po­sure. Mean­while, WTM Lon­don has an­nounced Italy as its Premier Part­ner for this year’s edi­tion through which the deal will pro­vide wide­spread me­dia cov­er­age, of­fer max­i­mum sup­port to tourism in­dus­try, and high­light Italy’s di­verse range of hol­i­days. The Ital­ian Na­tional Tourist Board will have two main stands at WTM Lon­don (EU2000, EU2070) and will share its ex­hi­bi­tion space with around 230 Ital­ian travel trade part­ners, in­clud­ing re­gional tourism bodies, ho­tels, travel agen­cies, re­sorts and op­er­a­tors.
