Away from the heights of the Eiffel Tower, and still not too far from it, is the Hauts- de- France region in Northern France. The panoply of attractions and activities in this part of the country have not been experienced by many. After recently discovering this hidden gem by walking the lanes of its most beautiful cities and towns, I saw a different side of the country, completely unheard of.
