A focused marketing campaign, tourism products, aviation growth and infrastructure development can work wonders. In fact, as mentioned by experts at the Tourism PowerHouse, India is seeing a steady growth in arrivals as compared to the world at large. However, the tourism industry needs to work harder to make use of these advantages. Today, India’s reputation around the world in terms of safety is a point of contention. However, experts have said that an image correction is possible by offering something extra to visitors. This includes providing unique experiences for every visitor to become a brand ambassador of India; thereby resulting in word-ofmouth and social media promotions.
