The pres­ti­gious World Travel Mar­ket (WTM) is once again ready to wel­come del­e­gates from around the world with the In­dian in­bound op­er­a­tors, ho­tels and ser­vice providers all set to head to Lon­don for their an­nual meet­ings with part­ners, both old and new. A lot of fo­cus at this year’s WTM will be on dig­i­tal con­tent and tech­nol­ogy. The In­dian del­e­ga­tion will be led by K J Alphons, Min­is­ter of State (I/C), Tourism, who would be rep­re­sent­ing In­dia at the global stage. In tune with the dig­i­tal fo­cus, In­dia is well equipped with its dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing strat­egy with a re­vamped In­cred­i­ble In­dia cam­paign, a sta­teof-the-art web­site and even an app. In fact, with the in­fras­truc­tural devel­op­ments in tourism tak­ing place around the coun­try un­der MOT’s var­i­ous schemes, In­dia packs the right punch for global tourists. Apart from a strong dig­i­tal cam­paign and in­fras­truc­tural boost, In­dia will also be rid­ing high on ex­pe­ri­ences, which tour op­er­a­tors and itin­er­ary de­sign­ers are cu­rat­ing for tourists com­ing from across the world.
