Mamta Pall, National President, Travel & Tourist Council of India, WICCI says they are trying to address complaints received from various segments, including MICE, tourism and hospitalit­y.

WCCI is committed to empowering women and advancing their careers. Mamta Pall, National President, Travel & Tourism Council of India, WICCI, said that the team is working on measures to address a variety of concerns, including gender bias and salary equity.

"There are a lot of women who have lost their employment as a result of the epidemic; we are attempting to match people who are looking for work with companies, and we have been successful in doing so, albeit the numbers are minor," she said. "Many women in the profession are empowered to some extent, but it is our mission to empower them on all levels," she added.

WICCI hosts a number of webinars, and they are planning one on why women are treated differentl­y at work and why they don't receive as many senior jobs as men do, among other topics. The Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) is a non-profit organisati­on dedicated to empowering women in India. It was India's first national women's chamber of business and industry. "My primary goal was to connect and recruit as many women as possible to the council so that they could learn about the activities that may be done," she said. "We are now working at all regional levels to address the difficulti­es that exist in that region. We are putting together a team that includes people from all around India," she added. "We are attempting to collect issues from various segments such as MICE, tourism, hospitalit­y and other industries that are experienci­ng issues at various levels, and then we plan to bring them to various government authoritie­s and discuss how to effectivel­y address them," she added. Award in Mumbai, which was organised to invite applicatio­ns from women who have made a mark in the Travel & Hospitalit­y Industry and have an element of Goddess Durga in them. She has also featured among the “Superwomen of Travel” and the “Leading Ladies of Outbound Industry”. She has been inspiring many women.
