VEM Technologies delivers fully indigenous BrahMos component

Hyderabad-based defence and aerospace firm VEM Technologies formally handed over a fully indigenous critical component for the BrahMos weapon system on 30 January 2017. In the photograph is seen VEM Technologies Chairman/MD V Venkata Raju presenting the first complex Pneumatic-Hydraulic Fuel Feed system to Dr Sudhir K Mishra, CEO and MD of BrahMos Aerospace, who noted that VEM has already set up infrastructure facilities for series production of the Pneumatic-Hydraulic system.

Dr Mishra congratulated VEM Technologies “for realising the critical sub-system in a short span of time” and complimented the company and its partners for the milestone achievement. VEM Technologies is one of BrahMos Aerospace’s major production partners, and has already supplied electronics, power systems and stores separation articles for air- and ground-launched versions of the BrahMos.
