VCAS flies the MiG-21

Seen in this picture is Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal SB Deo, who flew in a MiG-21 trainer during his visit to the Aircraft & Systems Testing Establishment (ASTE) at Bangalore. The Establishment was originally formed as the A&ATU at Kanpur on 23 August 1972 and later renamed as the ASTE. The present Dy Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal R Nambiar was Commandant of ASTE till his promotion.
