In conversati­on with Ben Bridge, EVP Global Business at Airbus Helicopter­s

BenBridge interacted and spoke with Vayu during the visit. We focused more on what Airbus helicopter­s’ was currently engaged in worldwide rather than only India. On the topic of civil and parapublic markets and launch of the Airbus Corporate Helicopter­s ACH, he stated, “This segment has seen a downturn since the past 5 years or so but we expect to see it grow again from 2019 on. As of today, we have secured 33% of the while strengthen­ing our customers’ satisfacti­on, we have decided to launch Airbus Corporate Helicopter­s (ACH). The range of our helicopter­s is the same for all our customers but the equipment solutions we offer are tailored to the for this segment is really a philosophy which requires a dedicated approach. Benchmarki­ng the corporate jet industry’s highest standards, ACH makes a difference in the ownership experience and the high-end quality of its Corporate/ transport needs. ACH was launched in 2017 and we are looking forward to seeing ACH160 is highly anticipate­d in the small medium market and is generating helicopter­s incorporat­ing Helionix, our state-of-the-art avionics solution and process of delivering an H225 to a customer in the Middle East”.

The affable Ben Bridge has over a decade and a half experience with BAE Systems where he was Regional Managing Director for Europe and the Americas, and previously as Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa. Bridge also served as Internatio­nal Sales Director for BAE’s Security and Intelligen­ce Division and brings a broad and valid portfolio of experience in global business Gazelle.
