Emirates Flight Training
Meeting the requirements
The Emirates Flight Training Academy was formally inaugurated by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on 13 November 2017, on sidelines of the Dubai Air Show.
This dedicated facility near Al Maktoum Airport has a dedicated 1.8km runway, independent air traffic control facilities and a fleet of 27 training aircraft in addition to flight simulators. With a capacity of 600 cadets, with accommodation for both men and women, it has 36 classrooms and a 350-seat auditorium, plus in-house dining facilities.
