User trials of ‘Helina’ and ‘Dhruvastra’

Joint User Trials of the Helina (Army version) and Dhruvastra (Air Force version) anti-tank missiles have recently been carried out, launched from Dhruv ALHs at desert ranges. Designed and developed by DRDO, the Helina and Dhruvastra are third generation, Lock on Before Launch (LOBL) fire and forget antitank guided missiles to engage targets both in direct hit mode as well as top attack mode.
