PTCL Bags Award for Best Op­er­a­tor

Pak­istan Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions Com­pany Lim­ited (PTCL), a state owned telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions com­pany of Pak­istan and the largest tele­com op­er­a­tor of the coun­try, has been awarded with the in­ter­na­tional SA­MENA award 2011, for be­ing the best tele­com op­er­a­tor in South Asia. The award has been cer­ti­fied on the ba­sis of its in­ter­na­tion­ally rec­og­nized stan­dards of busi­ness by Crowe Horwath, a global ac­count­ing and busi­ness net­work. The SA­MENA telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions coun­cil, based in Dubai aims to pro­mote tele­com in­no­va­tions in its mem­ber re­gions and pro­vides fa­cil­i­ties for knowl­edge shar­ing among re­gional tele­com en­ti­ties.
