ZTE Bags 33% Share in BTS Mar­ket

ZTE Cor­po­ra­tion has an­nounced that it has be­come the global leader in the CDMA base sta­tion mar­ket, hold­ing a 32.6% share in first half 2011. Ac­cord­ing to a re­port by IDC, the com­pany has in­creased its ship­ments of CDMA base sta­tions rapidly in re­cent years. And by the end of first half of 2011, the Chi­nese com­pany’s ship­ment of base sta­tions had ex­ceeded 320,000 units, thereby mak­ing it the leader in the global CDMA base sta­tion mar­ket. The com­pany has built more than 80 CDMA2000 1XEVDO net­works in over 60 coun­tries and re­gions in­clud­ing the Czech Repub­lic, In­dia, In­done­sia, and the US in the same.
