App Downloads Mounts with iPhone 4S

Fiksu, a company providing platform for growth of mobile applications, has said that the iphone 4S launch has caused a humongous growth in mobile app downloads. The company’s app store competitive index, which measures the average aggregate daily download volume of the top 200 free US iphone apps, saw a 70% increase in download volume during the iphone 4S launch weekend, and a 40% increase in download volume during postlaunch. The company also observed a noteworthy increase in organic downloads.
