Cisco Tops Enterprise WLAN Market in Q3

Cisco Systems has bagged the maximum revenue market share in the enterprise WLAN market, thereby retaining its position as the top wireless LAN provider, followed by Aruba Networks and Hewlett Packard, says a report by Dell’oro, a research and analysis firm. The analysis firm said that in the small office/home office (SOHO) market, Netgear retains the number one revenue rank, followed by Cisco Systems and D-link, while in the outdoor mesh segment, Belair Networks is number one by revenue, followed by Tropos Networks and Ruckus Wireless. The overall wireless LAN revenues grew more than 20% in the third quarter of 2011, compared to the quarter year ago.
