Apple Sells 3 mn ipad 3 in the First Weekend

Apple Inc has announced that it has sold 3 mn units of the latest ipad version, ipad 3 in the very first weekend, since sales began on March 16. The company said in a statement, hours after it announced it would begin to pay a quarterly dividend and commence share buybacks, that the latest version of the ipad would be sold in 24 more countries by March 23.
